Reminiscing #6: The Moon and The Stars and Sterling

I spent my days looking and exploring SL when I wasn't on clan lands. I longed to go on a date with my husband. Rikk was always busy on lands as the ArchKnight doing notecards, bannings, reviewing notices, and handling griefers. We would use the dance ball at the landing spot just so I could be with him. I would often look for fun places to explore together on the off chance we might have a date.

One of my favorite places to go was The Elven Forest. There were so many little hidden nooks and crannys. So many fabulous poses to do and try. The sim was filled with people from all other countries. I made many friends exploring and experiencing all it had to offer. Many times language was a barrier but it didn't matter. We shared in each other's enthusiasm and even though we didn't speak the same language we would readily follow each other. It was like Christmas morning when we found some new hidden cove or the teleport to touch the stars, the moon in the water, the magical grove, swimming like a mermaid in the water, singing and dancing like the fairies. The difficult to reach places offered sex pose balls but I never went there. Maybe  some day with Rikk. This is where I came to take some photos of myself in case I did become a Lady. I would need a picture for the castle afterall!

I found another lonely soul and made a friend.  Sterling lived near us in real life and we became fast friends. He did not have a partner so I would go dancing with him instead (with Rikk's permission of course). We would end our evenings at the Inspire Space Park meditating, watching the stars and asteroids float above us. He would wish me good night as he would fall asleep to the new age music and I would go back to the lands to Rikk, still busy with his work. Sterling eventually left the clan and Bloodlines altogether and took a break from SL as well. He finally found the love he was looking for in real life and I couldn't be happier for him. I see him log in from time to time. Things are different now but I treasure the time I spent with him and how he would talk to me. Just talk and listen. I hope I was a positive in his life as well. Soon I would have tremendous changes and the most fun yet!
