Keith surprised me with another skybox at Christmastime! This one had a Christmas tree, cozy fire, mistletoe, and an upstairs snowy area. It really felt like Christmas! I was so blessed to live with such gracious friends like Keith and Krista. I treasure the time I spent with them!
I don't own many winter clothes RL since I live in the desert. I often forget to dress accordingly in SL! This cute outfit was a $L25 special from Ho Wear as were the boots.
My adventures and experiences on Second Life as a vampire and as a royal in a vampire clan.

Yule Celebration
Celebrating Pagan holidays on Second Life just isn't the same anymore without my best friend, Kumani. Collaborating with her meant something special was brewing and the energy was palpable. When our event was over, you felt revived, refreshed, at peace. You knew you were connected with those around you in an undescribable way, even on a virtual level.
At the request of some clan members I signed up to host an event for Yule. I decorated, got my ceremony all laid out, dressed up, and was ready to go! I sent out my notice an hour before as we normally do. Not two minutes later, another clan member sent out her notice for her event four hours later. Frankly it was rude. So I said fuck it, made an excuse and logged. No one was coming anyway despite the requests. Maybe I was looking for an excuse to bail.
That pretty well sums up the feeling in the clan for the month of December. No one was motivated to do much of anything. And when we did, there was zero support. Final exams, the holidays, and the pressure of RL made everyone retreat to their homes. We are getting back to a good place now- help, support, excitement.
I did learn more about the story of Yule; I got to wear my awesome Ghost of Christmas Present gown that Kumani gave me; and I did the ceremony for myself in a quiet way and felt good doing it.

Hoars Meditating
This awesome build, Witch's Sacrifice, came from a hunt. I'm here gathered with my fellow hoars, Kumani and Laini, doing a bit of meditation. Laini had recently celebrated her rez day. Her liege at the time gave her a pet monkey which I detested and tried to sacrifice to no avail. (It was a joke of course). Everyone knows hoars only sacrifice goat. ;) This image brings back such peaceful, content memories. Miss you Laini. Come back online soon. <3

Freya and Freyja 101
Wearing another Ho WEar $L25 special from October 2011. The little pink robot is Freyja 101, Keith's latest money making scheme. The first model of her kind ever created in SL, Keith named her after me. Awww!

Thanksgiving 2011
I had to dress up. Can you blame me? Ho Wear has fantastic bargains every weekday for only L$25!!
This is one that Heidi offered at Thanksgiving called Moon Shadow. I missed the clan's Thanksgiving party, but I couldn't resist wearing this at least once!

Halloween 2011
I absolutely LOVE autumn. I feel like it's my element, my time. The colors, the vibe, the smell- it's all good.
This was my skybox I lived in for most of autumn. Keith bought it for me to live in while on he and Krista's land. That is the image I would see logging in. Absolute, sheer heaven! The outfit was a freebie from Ho Wear. Another delight!

Bitten Products
My man, Rick Steamweaver, created these cool bite marks and sells them on the Marketplace. This is my lame attempt at photographing them. LOL If you like this sort of thing check his stuff out:
marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/52161 . The model on his page is his alt, I thought I could improve on it but looks like I still need to work on it too! haha!

Namaste
I believe that the Universe brings people into your life for a reason. Some might need you at the time, you might need them. Or it might be an ongoing exchange of information, support, and lessons.
Being a liege has some interesting dynamics to it- a parent in one way, a boss/supervisor, a friend, a mentor, a teacher all wrapped up in one. You are expected to be these things automatically for your minions. Then there are times when you absolutely connect with that other person. It's almost as if the lightbulb goes off and you think "Oh! Oh I see!" The Universe was at play here bringing us together. Fascinating stuff.
It happened to me last night. Once again, I was taken by surprise by it. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised at all. We are all spiritual beings afterall. In the swirl of many old friends logging in, the excitement, the energy of all being together again, I unexpectedly connected with a new minion. And though I miss Audrey and DM and so many others, it was a reminder to keep my heart open to new people, new friends, new souls that just might have a lesson or two to teach me.
